THE SMALL LESSON / 02
A better brief. A better answer.
Give the model enough direction to produce something you can judge.
Start with the job
“Make this better” leaves the model to guess. Specify the reader, the material it may use, the output and the limits.
Task: Turn these meeting notes into a follow-up draft. Reader: The project team. Source: Use only the notes below. Format: Three decisions, then owners and next steps. Limits: Do not invent dates or commitments. If a detail is missing, mark it as an open question.
Then read it like an editor
Compare every decision and owner with your notes. A precise prompt helps, but it does not prove the answer is correct.
