The problem
A summary can sound current even when its source is old. It can also lose the attribution that makes a number meaningful.
What we built
The prototype reads four official feeds: OpenAI, Google, Apple and Microsoft. It selects recent items, preserves original publication dates, asks a local model for a short summary and sends the result through a separate editorial review.
Evidence from the first edition
The saved edition contains two source-linked stories, from OpenAI and Google. Its prepared date is October 11, 2026 in New York time. No qualifying recent item was added from the other two feeds.

What is still unfinished
Preparing an edition does not publish it. The daily runtime is disabled by default, and the public publication connection is not active. This preview contains a saved edition; it is not proof of an automatically updated public magazine.
